Three Annectdotes

Back when my mom was in high school, she wasn't considered as a very good student. I remembered her telling me about this one time when she was in school and she got into a fight with a black girl. She emphasized on the word "black" because school was very racist back then. She told me that the girl picked on her, and for self defense, got into a fight. My mom ended up winning, which was pretty surprising knowing that she was really short and fighting with a girl a whole head taller than her.

One day my mom came back from work, I saw the sadness on her face, but didn't really bother to ask because I know she would just say, "I'm fine, don't worry about it." That night, my parents got into a really big fight. Since my room was next to their bedroom, I heard everything they were talking about, even though everyone in the house also heard them yell since they were that loud. The next day, I asked my mom what happened, and she said, "Nothing happened. It was just a little argument." Everyday my mom comes home, she is all stressed out and tired from work, yet she still has to cook and clean up the house. My dad's side of the family, aunts, uncles, and grandparents always come over to have dinner and sleepover. She never said anything because she didn't want to be rude, but in the inside she wanted them to leave because she already has six kids and a husband to care of after hours and hours of work. No one bothered to help, so she did everything herself.

I noticed that my mom always volunteers for everything. It doesn't matter whether she's rich or not, she tries to help out everyone. She sings in choir for church, donates a lot of clothing, sponsors a 10 year old girl in Vietnam in order for her to go to school, and sponsors deacons so they can complete their studies to become a priest. She has been volunteering since she was 22 years old. Even though she had to work to support her family of fourteen, she still helped out the poor in any way she could.

Controling Impressions

My mom is a caring, loving mom which everyone adores. Through all of the rough times she has been through, i don't think any mom would have this much trouble to go through as she does. She lives in a house with 6 kids to take care of and her husband. She works during the daytime and comes home and cooks for everyone in the evening. My mom is 5 feet tall and loves to shop online. Boxes and boxes gets shipped home all the time. She also finds the best deals on items. Free magazines, free clothing, 80% off of the whole purchase, she'll find everything. Back when she was 14, she had to take care of twelve brothers and sisters. This is how she has so much experience to take care of her six kids.
